One of the perks I have working for Wargames, Soldiers and Strategy is attending quarterly meetings at the head offices in Zutphen, Holland. It is far easier to discuss our strategy for future issues of the magazine in person rather than over the phone.

As explained in my last blog entry, our local gaming group had a competition to paint an artillery gun. Now that I had my brave artillery crew painted, next I needed a gun for them to man and a base to mount both gun and crew.

As part of our Project Ligny for 2015, I'm painting a lot of French. A lot. I'm even beginning to dream in French uniforms, waking up in a sweat while trying to remember if I have the right shade of uniform or the right cuffs for light infantry.
