For myself my main intrest in the medieval warfare are the norman invasion of england and the high medieval period which covers the wars of the roses and the swiss burgundy wars.

So why buy this magazine ?
it has some very detailled background information about the one off the knightly orders (The Livonian Swordbrothers) from the "north crusades".
Desciptions of some off the battles and a very entertaining article about russian "castles", I did not know that there was a hadrian's wall/ chinese wall equivalent in what is now Ukraine.
