As I said in another review, the articles from the regular contributors are always a joy to read.

Especially Gary Mitchell's article on the conquest of the new world is very informative and so well written that I might use some quotes in my history lessons. And having an author take a one sentence look at the ACW from a Marxist perspective and quote Star Trek in the next paragraph is immensely enjoyable.
But my secret favourite in WSS have always been the columns which I usually read first as I am fascinated by the insights of these long-time gamers and designers, as I'm very interested in the design process as well. And in this issue, the columns are once again very well done.
While I was reading the issue I found myself alternatingly laughing out loud and then again looking breathlessly at beautiful pictures of wonderfully painted miniatures.
To sum it up, a jolly good read! (Posted on 3/6/2014)
