WSS podcast 107 - A few of our favourite things
In this episode of the WS&S podcast, Angus is joined by Guy, Jasper, Chris, and Mark for a discussion about painting.
The team talk about what they enjoy painting, how they approach it, and whether they have favourite sculpts or manufacturers that keep them coming back to the painting table. Obviously, the episode also includes the latest hobby news from Guy at Bowers Villas.

On the subject of ‘to black line, or not to black line’. I have always used the analogy of actors on a stage. If you are seated several rows back in the audience, then without exaggerated make-up, it’s almost impossible to tell who is who on stage! Therefore the make-up is purposely enhanced with the use of dark lined areas of the face, so that their character is recognisable from the audience! The miniatures on a table top terrain are just the same from 3-4 feet away, therefore black lining does help to more easily distinguish the figures.
PS, another excellent podcast, thank you all.😉
Good listen chaps – brightening up a rainy afternoon in England :)
