In July, his troops invested the city of Mantua and the Austrian garrison within it. Over the next seven months, the Austrians launched four campaigns to lift the siege. Napoleon's fortunes waxed and waned, but in the end, the Austrian armies were defeated and Mantua taken. Austria sued for peace. This article allows you to replay the campaign with your own armies at whichever scale you prefer.
