Who Would You Fight for in 1066?

It’s a time of turmoil, betrayal and bloodshed… who would you fight for?
Harold Godwinson (The English)
You would fight for Harold Godwinson, the Earl of Wessex, who Edward the Confessor named his successor on his deathbed. You believe in law and order and following through on your word. You don’t take too kindly to rebellions and are prepared to fight for those you think should be in power. Unfortunately, Harold Godwinson will be defeated by William the Conqueror at the Battle of Hastings in October 1066.
Duke William (The Normans)
You would fight for Duke William, also known as William the Conqueror. You have a rebellious streak, and you admire a leader who is bold, larger than life and tireless in pursuing his goals. You believe William should rule England, and you picked the winning side. William will go on to defeat Harold Godwinson at the Battle of Hastings in October 1066, becoming King William, ruling until his death in 1087.
Harald Hardrada (The Vikings)
You would fight for Harald Hardrada, the King of Norway, who is sometimes known as the “last Viking ruler.” You believe ambition and strength are excellent leadership qualities, and you value a vision of expansion and growth. Unfortunately, Harald will not achieve the level of power you think he should. He will be defeated by Harold Godwinson at Stamford Bridge in September 1066.
