What is the Karwansaray Publishers subscriber referral program?
The Karwansaray subscriber referral program is a new, exciting way for all of our current subscribers and most valuable customers to share their passion for history and wargaming with their friends, family, and others while earning discount coupons in the process.
Who is eligible for the Karwansaray Publishers referral program?
Current readers of Ancient Warfare, Medieval World, Ancient History, and Wargames Soldiers & Strategy are all eligible to participate in the program. Eligible customers can refer others with their own unique referral link once they are enrolled in the referral program. Customers who wish to participate may sign up for the waitlist via the self-signup page, or a post-purchase popup with their name and email address.
How do I enroll in the Karwansaray Publishers referral program?
Eligible customers are automatically enrolled. Those who have agreed to receive marketing emails receive a post-purchase email to let them know that they are now enrolled. Customers who opted out of receiving marketing emails may be enrolled in the program, but will not receive most related emails. When an eligible customer makes a purchase at Karwansaray they are presented with a post-purchase popup with their referral link. Enrollment is also possible via the self-signup page.
What is an advocate?
An advocate is an eligible customer who actively participates in the Karwansaray subscriber referral program. Active participation means that an advocate has sent at least one referral link to another person.
What is the advocate reward?
The advocate reward is a €15 discount coupon that can be used to purchase books, back issue bundles, and single issues published by Karwansaray Publishers. A minimum order value of €25 applies.
What is a referral link?
A referral link is a link provided to customers in the referral program. It can be shared with other people to allow them to buy products from Karwansaray Publishers at a discount with the friend offer.
Where can I find my referral link?
When eligible customers are enrolled in the Karwansaray Publishers referral program, they receive an invite email with the referral link. The link can also be accessed via the ‘Get Invite Link’ button in the post-purchase popup, the join page, the share page (by entering their email address) and all of the post-purchase, reminder and reward emails sent to eligible customers on a regular basis for information purposes and to encourage active participation in the referral program.
What is the friend offer?
The friend offer is a 15% discount for first-time customers applicable for all subscriptions and renewals of Karwansaray Publishers magazines. No minimum order value applies.
How do I start making referrals as an advocate?
The referral link can easily be copied and shared via email or social media. Once someone clicks on the referral link, they are welcomed on the friend offer page from where they can use the friend offer to start shopping at Karwansaray Publishers.
When do I receive my advocate reward?
An advocate first receives a reward-pending email once a new customer has made a purchase of qualifying products through their referral link with a minimum spend of €2. A purchase-review period applies in which Karwansaray Publishers reserves the right for fourteen (14) days to delete or disqualify purchases made via a referral link that would otherwise lead to the awarding of the advocate reward. This timeframe is in line with our refund policy. A purchase is deleted if it has been cancelled or returned by a first-time customer. A purchase is disqualified if there is reason to believe that the referral made by an advocate is fraudulent. Furthermore, a disqualification ensures that future purchases by the same first-time customer do not grant the advocate who made the fraudulent referral the advocate award. Once a purchase is verified the advocate reward is issued.
How can I access and track my rewards as an advocate?
Advocates can access the share page via the join page when the signup for the referral program is completed and after entering their email address. The share page not only enables an advocate to share their referral link, but also contains a rewards button at the top right. Once a personal password is created, this button leads to the rewards page via a login page. On the rewards page an advocate can track their rewards, referrals, invite more friends, and change their referral link.
Is there a limit on the number of people that an advocate can refer?
No, there is no limit on the number of people that an advocate can refer.
Can the advocate reward or friend offer be used in conjunction with other promotions, rewards, and/or discounts offered by Karwansaray Publishers?
The discount coupons offered as the advocate reward and friend offer cannot be combined with product, order, or shipping discounts offered by Karwansaray Publishers.
Do the discount coupons expire?
Yes. All coupon codes offered as advocate rewards or friends offers are limited to a single use and expire ninety (90) days after the date of receipt. The expiry date is mentioned in the reward email sent to advocates when they receive their advocate reward. Coupon expiry dates can also be tracked on the rewards page.
My friend offer link has been used to make a purchase, but I have not yet received my advocate award. What should I do?
If you have not received your discount coupon when all reward eligibility conditions have been met and the purchase review period of fourteen (14) days has passed, then please contact us at support@karwansaraypublishers.com.
