Issue 112 - The Siege of Toulouse (1218)

WSS 112 deals with a variety of Medieval Crusades and Holy Wars, in the Middle East of course, but in Scandinavia and southern France as well. To get you 'in the mood' to get your divinely-inspired miniature warriors onto the table, this issue's online article is set at the Siege of Toulouse of 1218. Led by Simon de Montfort, father of the famous opponent of Henry III, the siege seemed to proceed quite well, until a catapult projectile put a rather abrupt end to the life of De Montfort.
