really good magazine a nice selection of articles

I very much enjoy the magazine both the format of the articles and in particular the miniature reviews section.

Up to the usual high standard, great reviews and opinion pieces, really love the fact that the reviews of miniatures give their actual size!. Where else could you find such excellence apart from WSS magazine!!

I like 18th century warfare the most and odd wars like queen victoria's

I would love to see an article in each issue focusing upon an individual regiment from any/all nations and services across a single war and campaign in history, showing uniform, weapons, vehicles, tactics, area of operation, and what they did. Include manufacturers of available miniatures.

Usual excellent mix of articles. Always read these magazines cover to cover.

I particularly liked the Arnhem and Konigsberg CoC scenarios as they were both things that I could see myself recreating in the future. I liked the theme despite it not really being my period and I enjoyed the elephant round-up. I appreciated having a bit more detail in the cover diorama article. Overall, I like the quality of the magazine including the weight of the paper and the time, care and skill that clearly goes into the photographs and artwork etc. Thank you. In this particular issue, I'm struggling to find anything that I don't like.

Great work as usual

This issue's articles covers a wargaming period I don't normally play, so it was not as interesting as other issues. Overall quality of issue is still very good with excellent photos and good product reviews and columns.

It's every time a surprise how good the content is. Not only about subjects I like, also subjects I do know less about. And that, for me, is interesting.

Enjoy the reviews (helpful as it includes small scale figures !). Ancients theme very much appreciated - some lovely painting here. Nice to see some ideas for future elephant purchases ! Opinion pieces are always interesting, even if I disagree at times. Modelling articles (esp walls) very helpful. Always interested in 'lets play..' articles as they can give insight into some games I wouldn't otherwise know about. Finally, I do appreciate the magazine paper quality.

The usual good mix of articles

The main theme was of interest, as were the relevant scenarios. Also enjoyed the ww2 and 1679 oones. look to be playing these soon.

Brennus ad portas was excellent, please publish more articles about the very early roman republic or even the kingdom!

i did like the modelling articles by Mackay and Lilof, a little bit of science fiction from Pogson didn't hurt and the two ww2 articles were pretty good too.

The pouch was a little bit dull (milky), so postalservice had problems to deliver and relabled it.

I keep my subscription active for a reason 😉 - please keep it up 👍

I just like your nice, well layed-out magazine, and it got me to even read articles about eras/topics I've never really been interested in, and shall probably never be. Just what a good mag should do!

Whilst there might be only a few articles of personal interest each issue, I do enjoy a general perusal and WS&S remains my favouite wargaming tabletop magazine by a mile.

Please can you make it easier to identify the rules used in each article. It frustrates me as sometimes it's not obvious.
Also it would be nice to see other scales / sizes - 6mm needs more love.

Need a list of retailers by historical periods and size of figures. You don't seem to get many of them unless they advertise or submit samples.
